Bike Mimarlık
Bike Mimarlık was established in Taksim, Istanbul in 2008. Since our foundation we have carried out significant work in the design and construction implementation of both historic and contemporary buildings. Through our offices in Istanbul and Varna we provide services across Turkey and Europe.
Bike Mimarlık adopts a holistic approach in architecture, restoration, survey, restitution and implementation projects, with broad experience in monumental structures, civil architecture and contemporary buildings.
We have undertaken pioneering work in Turkey, especially in the three-dimensional documentation of historic buildings with point cloud data, conversion into survey and design using scientific methods. We hold technical competence, academic discipline and ethical responsibility as core principles in preserving, documenting and passing on historic heritage to future generations.
Bike Mimarlık has been actively involved in historic building restorations, healthcare and culture buildings, and large-scale modern projects both before and after its establishment.
In addition to preparing survey, restitution and restoration projects, the practice has extensive experience in project management, technical coordination, site management and site supervision.
We have participated in the documentation and restoration projects of many significant structures such as Fatih Mosque and Complex, Süleymaniye Mosque, Rüstem Pasha Mosque, Istanbul University Rectorate Building, Yıldız Palace, Beylerbeyi Palace and Zeyrek Retaining Walls, as well as preparing conservation projects for numerous civil architecture examples in various districts.
In our work on historic buildings, our core approach is to preserve the building's original identity, interpret period traces correctly and produce scientifically grounded solutions in line with conservation board regulations.
Survey, restitution and restoration projects are carried out through archive research, on-site documentation, three-dimensional measurement techniques and interdisciplinary collaboration. The aim is not only to conserve cultural heritage but to integrate it soundly into contemporary life.
Bike Mimarlık is also actively involved in contemporary architectural projects.
We provide concept development, implementation projects, tender documentation and project supervision services for housing, education, healthcare, culture, tourism and social facility projects.
In modern architecture we address functionality, aesthetics, sustainability and user needs together; each project is developed with original solutions within its own context.
Alongside project production we take an active role in implementation.
We have carried out site supervision and implementation management on restoration sites, office and residential fit-outs, bank branches and public buildings.
Fidelity to the project, quality of detail and disciplined follow-up are among our core principles at the implementation stage.
