Project Summary
In this project in Balat, the implementation and construction process was carried out by Bike Architecture in line with the architectural projects prepared within the scope of reconstruction. The work covers implementation stages from the building envelope to the interior spaces.
On the external facade, implementation was carried out on the basis of the mass, floor alignments and facade proportions defined in the reconstruction projects. Facade surfaces were treated with plaster, and window and door openings were completed with timber joinery. Floor cornices and corner details on the facade were implemented so as to ensure the integrity of the structure.
In the interior spaces, stairs and circulation areas were completed with timber treads and railings. A simple and neutral approach was adopted for floor and wall surfaces, and interior applications were handled in a functional and clean language.
In the open areas of the structure, ceramic cladding was applied on terrace and similar outdoor surfaces. Floor finishes were laid in accordance with the use of the space; parapet and wall details were completed in harmony with the facade language.
Throughout the implementation process, the architectural decisions defined in the reconstruction projects were applied on site as specified; the structure was completed while preserving its mass and spatial integrity. The project was realised as an example of the reconstruction implementation process carried out by Bike Architecture.
