Balıkesir Rixos Hotel

Hotel – Architectural Project

Project Summary

Architectural project work for the planned hotel building in Balıkesir was prepared by Bike Architecture. The project addresses the hotel’s massing, facade language and relationship with open areas.

The building mass was designed with a layout that expands horizontally and focuses at the centre. Arched openings, columned galleries and a rhythmically repeating opening pattern stand out on the facades. This approach aims to give the building a monumental and highly representative architectural identity.

In the project, large openings, terraces and open areas that strengthen the relationship between interior and exterior were planned. The square and water features in front of the building, together with the open area layout, aim to establish an integrated relationship between the hotel and its surroundings. Landscape and open areas were treated to support the perception of the architectural mass.

In the facade design, a proportional approach balanced with floor lines and vertical elements was adopted; the mass effect was distributed in a controlled way through corner solutions and facade breaks. The architectural language was developed through a composition that emphasises symmetry and axial order.

The project was created by Bike Architecture as an architectural project covering the architectural design and visualisation work prepared for Balıkesir Rixos Hotel.
